New Variants Around The Globe

What do coronavirus variants mean for vaccines and reinfection? What we know so far is the COVID-19 virus has been mutating since being discovered. Multiple variants of the virus that causes COVID-19 are circulating globally.
So far, studies suggest that antibodies generated through vaccination with currently authorized vaccines recognize these variants. Getting vaccinated, physical distancing, wearing masks, hand hygiene, and isolation and quarantine is essential to limit the virus's spread that causes COVID-19.
