COVID-19: Is It Safe Eating At A Restaurant?

A recent CDC report found people who got sick with COVID-19 were twice as likely to have dined out beforehand. Adults who tested positive for COVID-19 were two times more likely to have eaten out at a restaurant in the two weeks before they got sick. The CDC and other health authorities say that any dining setting where people are in close contact with each other without masks presents risks.
As Wisconsin continues to break COVID-19 records, we ask our community to be mindful of their decisions to go out unless it's essential. Hospitals are now bracing for flu season and will need to have a focus on patients who need assistance.
