2020-2021 Frequently Asked Questions About The Flu Season

An annual seasonal flu vaccine is the best way to help protect against flu. Getting vaccinated has shown many benefits including reducing the risk of flu illnesses, hospitalizations, and even the risk of flu-related death in children. For the 2020-2021 season, VaxPro will be using Afluria, which is an egg-based vaccine.
There are many benefits from the flu vaccination and preventing flu is always important, but in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s even more important to do everything possible to reduce illnesses and preserve scarce health care resources.
